Suffering From Cough And Shivering In Hands, Recovering From Pneumonia. What Is The Underlying Cause?
Hai Doc. I am 26 years old, affected with pneumonia on October 11th and i am taking medicines right now. But my cough is not cured yet.Had 6 bottles of cough syrup and so many tablets. (now taking Romilast 10mg,Kyrab d & Deriphyllin). And also now my hands are shivering all the time.May i know the exact reason for the continous cough and all these?
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms. your drugs are more suggestive for the management of asthma than pneumonia. Well, good management of chronic cough starts by establishing the right diagnosis through a well conducted interview, clinical exam and investigations. This is because there are so many different causes and treatment for each is different from the other.
Ii will suggest that you return for a follow up evaluation and treatment. Do not hesitate to ask the doctor what the exact problem is and whether he thinks the treatment is appropriate. Unless we know what we are dealing with, we cannot know what we should treat.
I hope you find this helpful. Thank you for using our services and please feel free to request for more information if need be. I wish you well good health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
