Suffering From Crohn S And Diverticulitis Why Do I Feel Constipated With Pain In Abdomen?

I have been suffering with constipation for some years now! It goes from almost black to a very light colour! Very smelly! I go can go from 3-7 days of not going! I also get alot of pain in my upper abdo region and bloat excesively when i eat ! I have chrones and diverticulutis. In my family and wonder if it is possible one of these could be the problem

Hi and welcome to HCM,
This condition is due to your crohn's disease and diverticulitis only. Diverticula can form while straining during bowel movement such as with constipation. They are most common in lower portion of large intestine. Add more fiber diet to prevent the further formation of diverticula. Stiffening and narrowing of the bowel wall causes obstruction, which may result in contipation. Consult with your doctor for further investigations.
