Suffering From Dried Blood In My Nose, Nose Bleeds. History Of Pituitary Adenoma. Cause Of Worry?

For several months I have had dried blood in my nose in the morning. It clumps in the corner and it fairly painful. its also been getting worse. Alot more than before. I remove it but it comes back every day. I do also have a small Pituitary Adenoma that has been monitored . Should I be concerned about the nose bleeds .

Hello and welcome to Health Care Magic,

Presence of blood in nostrils indicates injury to the nasal mucosaand subsequent bleeding.
Removal of the dried blood makes the injured surface raw and thus repeated bleeding and crusting.

In order to halt this process use a wet pack after removal of the dried blood.
Packing can be made by simply soaking the cotton in bland emollient.
This will heal the raw surface and hence halt the bleeding.

It is unlikely that a pituitary adenoma is associated with the nose bleed.
