my wife suffering from endometriosis. endometrial thickness varied from 13mm to 19mm during menustrual cycle. Gynacaeologist planned for hysteroscopy with d and c. Before performing the hysteroscopy they planned for trans vaginal sonography. please let me know when the sonography test may be done and hysteroscopy may be done during cycle

Endometrial thickness varies throughout the menstrual cycle. If you are planning to conceive then the best time to choose for these procedures is in the first part of the cycle that is between day 8 - day 10.the tests are not carried out in menstruating females and performing these tests in later half of the cycle may disturb an ongoing pregnancy
