Hello Sir, I am suffering from kerotoconus in both of my eyes from the past 10 years. right now I am 26 years old. I wear semi soft gas permeable lenses. I have also undergone Cr 3 riboflavin in both of my eyes in the year 2010. please suggest any further stpes that can be taken to improvise my condition.
Hello The treatment options in keratoconus to improve vision are Contact lenses either toric soft or semisoft Intracorneal ring implants Phakic intraocular lenses Keratiplasty
You have undergone C3r which means corneal collagen crosslinking and it is basically done to stabilize the cornea to arrest the progression of the disease.
Now the next depends on the refractive error and corneal thickness as measured by corneal topography and depending on these next mode has to be determined. Hence I advice you to consult ophthalmologist or if you can send the above two reports I will be able to advice you. Thank you
