Suffering From Neck And Shoulder Pain, Headaches. Doing Exercise. Suggestions?

Hi,

I am 40 year old, working as director of an IT company. my neck and shoulder has mild pain .. I have done X-rays and MRI ... Doctor says not a severe symptoms, and advised for excersise.

I am doing walking etc. from last few months but no major relief ... I have taken some Ayurvedic medicine also, but not seen any difference ..

Last 1 month I was on travel and I get sometimes headaches too ... Can someone advise ... I line in JP nagar Bangalore.

Hi, this could be a case of repetitive strain injury, common among the IT professionals, and it is due to bad postures and sitting position when working in the computer. see your physiotherapist, which is very useful and along with that analgesics is useful, both systemic and local analgesics. exercises and taking small breaks in the work place will help. change the chair also to prevent it in the future. all the best.
