Suffering From Parkinsons Disease. DBS Treatment?

hello i am dr ashish a dentist from bangalore. my uncle is suffering from parkinsons disease from past 10 years(he is under medication ever since). i wanted to know more about DBS treatment in bangalore. is there any hope if he under goes DBS? is there any other treatment which cures this disease? who is the best doctor here in bangalore to consult?... kindly help...

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a helpful treatment for Parkinson's disease (PD). It is indicated in certain specific situations such as tremor-predominant PD and drug-induced dyskinesia.
In Bangalore, you can meet either Dr Murali Srinivas (Neurologist at Manipal Hospital) or Dr Guruprasad (Neurologist at Columbia Asia hospital) to know more details about the procedure. Both the doctors are good neurologists with experience in DBS and I know them personally and academically.
