Suffering From Persistent Cough And Discomfort In Left Lung
When I go to bed at night, my left lung bothers me. It does not hurt during the day nor when I take deep breaths. I do have a persistent cough but not any phleam but at times the cough can be deep. We recently went away for a long weekend and my lung did not bother me.

Do you feel difficulty breathing and coughing on lying supine on bed..
If yes then get evaluated for your heart by getting an electrocardiogram and an echocardiogram after consulting your family physician..
If no, then i woul opine you to get an Xray chest done to rule out any abnormality in lungs
