Suffering From Right Abdomen Pain, Diabetes, Stomach Pain With Constipation.

hello doctor , my mom aysha(48) has been suffering from pain in the right abdomen for past two days. we took her to the hospital.the doctor prescribed some antibiotics and she was diagnosed to have diabetes with blood sugar level of 291 and urine sugar level-2+.Now she is having stomach pain with constipation for past two days.inspite of taking dulcolax and cremalax she couldnt excrete...please advice.

Dear sir/madam

If diabetes not controlled properly and urine sugar goes 2+ then it will lead to increased urination which inturn causes dehydration.

Control your sugars at optimum levels. secondly stomach pain might be due to constipation, avoid taking dulcolax but instead take lactulose solution. but if constipation is due to impacted stools then it wont help too much. then you might need enema.
Review your medicines because some of the antidiabetic medicines will cause constipation.
