Noted the history related to the typical constipation, bowel movements and gases, leg pain. All the history is suggestive of one of the following reasons: IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome. Any colonic pathology. Diet problems along with indigestion. This can be investigated in the following ways: Consult a General Surgeon fort per-rectal digital examination and ano-proctoscopy. Get an appointment for colonoscopy and CT scan of abdomen. Send stool for lab for 3 consecutive days. Get the relevant blood tests for CBC, Thyroid, liver and pancreas function. All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus lead to a proper management. Till then take Isabgol husk with 2 glasses of water as per the requirement to have soft stool. Identify the foods and beverages that cause the problems and stop these.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
