hello...Doctor im suffering from recurrent swollen gums for 3 months and from the start i developed lymph nodes in my neck..if my gums will swell my nodes is painful also, my ultrasoun d result is: Bilateral cervical lymphodenopathy with preserved echogenic hilum are seen..what's the meaning doctor? do i have a tooth extraction? thank you im waiting for the reply because im afraid. thank you
You're basically suffering from Gingivitis. Mostly it is infection to the gums caused by bacteria. If there an infection in the draining area of the lymph node will swell and there will be tenderness. Maintain good oral hygiene. Take vitamin C supplements. Consult your dentist.
