Suffering From Typhoid Over 1.5 Months. Taking Cefixime. Recommendations?

Hii docotor please guide Me regarding typhoid.I had typhpid 1.5 months ago and was on medicine till 2 weeks during which i had only fever,weakness & sometimes stomach pain problem. My fever gone after 2 weeks but was having weakness and i continued going to office after that.But last week i started suffering from constipation and had widal test in which typhoid came, now doctor has put me in 10 days medicine called cefixime. Please help i am really scared how will i improve

thanks for posting query .
recurrent typoid not good .

1. avoid outside food completely.
2. check your water source . take filter water .
3. cefixime is correct one but in typhoid dose remain high that is 20 mg/kg /day .
4 . if possible u should take iv antibiotic for few days than shift to oral antibiotic .
5 . take light diet . but at frequent interval .
6 .rest is important .
7 . u should go for whole abdominal sonography to rule out any complication

this time when u get cure consult your doctor for typhoid vaccine . given after 1 month of cure .
