Suffering From Vomitings, Diarrhea. Body Dehydrated. All Family Members Had Stomach Virus. Any Contamination Merging With Virus?

My Mom was vomiting for 4 days and feeling noshes some times. Then she started having diarrhua. She was admitted to the hospital, in 4 days diarea stopped. Next day she had to return, when nurse sed she is dehydrated and started having diarrhea again. She is in the hospital, all the tests of the stool are negative, just a bit hight creatin. She has watery diarrhea. And all together she is sick for 2 weeks.
All the home attendants, including me(daughter ) all had 24 hour stomach virus.
Could she have other contamination( medicine) merging with virus? GI specialist came and ordered 3 times a day some kind of liquid(looks like liquid choke).

Thanks for your interest in HCM.Definitely,your mother is suffering from Acute Gastroenteritis with dehydration,and it seems yourself and all the home attendants are having this problem as this is feco-oral contamination of food or water. The dehydration,if it is severe,should be treated with IV FLUIDS immediately and all precautionary measures should be taken to prevent contamination of water and food.Antibiotics are used,if it is due to bacterial etiology.
