Suffering With Alopecia Areata. Prescribed Betnesol Forte, Veloxin. Are They Effective?

Sir, i am kashmir.i have been suffering from alopecia areata from last 4 months. ist doctor in kashmir advised me to take Momstar cream and now i went to another doctor in delhi .he has given me following mediines. WWW.WWWW.WW Betnesol forte 5mg ..2 times week XTIN forte..1 time everyday Veloxin..1 every day hhsone cream sx 4 mg capsule ..1 everyday.. iwill it solve my problem ?

Hi ,
Thanks for writing in.

You are taking pulse therapy of steroid for Alopecia areata.
You can take it maximum for 2 years.
You can stop before 2 years if you have hair growth more than 90%.
Steroids can have serious side effects regular monitoring by dermatologist is essential for patient on pulse therapy.You can also take veloxin ,hhsone cream they are effective in alopecia areata.




Consult your dermatologist for continuing the betnesol tablets. They are good only when taken under constant monitoring for side effects.
