Dear doctor, I am an absolute vegetarian. I have heard that the vegetarians cannot have a balanced diet, depending only on vegetables and therefore they have to find a source to obtain the minerals,vitamins and other nutrients (contained in animal stuffs like meat and fish) to balance their diet. Is there any special source of nutrients for vegetarians to overcome this problem? What are they if any?
What do you mean by absolute vegetarian? Dont you take Milk also?. Do u know Elephant is a vegetarian. If u take good amount of Pulses, beans and vegetables u will get enough protein, mineral and vitamins in your diet. I think vegetarian can also have a good balanced diet.
