Triamcinolone acetonide, cream for eczema....appears to be a steroidal treatment. Therefore i am cautious for potential oncogenic concerns, efc. Is there a dietary supplement that will improve recent onset itchy skin aka. mild eczema for a 68 yr old male. ..?
As per your case history of eczema, my treatment advice is - 1. Don't scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Take food rich in vitamin A and take a vitamin A supplement once daily for three months. 3. Don't worry about steroid as the topical steroid will not cause many side-effects. If the problem persists, then consult a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
