Since you are getting the problem of gases only after dinner and getting a relief with Pudinhara, Zantac or
Pantoprazole, the most likely associated cause looks to be
gastritis. But since gastritis does not cause any gases, further clinical evaluation by a Doctor is needed.
The cause of gases can be as follows:
Something that you eat or drink in dinner that can cause gases and you have to have a keen observation to know the cause and stop such products from consuming.
Aerophagia is due to stress and anxiety and if present should be controlled well.
If the problem is of long duration please go for
ultrasonography of the abdomen and an upper GI
Endoscopy. This will give a definite diagnosis so that a proper course of Pantoprazole, and other medications as needed can be done.
