7 months ago i was diagnosed with adhd and it was the best thing that ever happened to me i have been so happy with everything up until the past week or so. it doesnt matter what i do i cant seem to be happy. i have had thoughts of suicide but havent dont anything with that. whats wrong with me?
You have been diagnosed with ADHD and were very happy. First of all I want to know if you have been diagnosed with ADHD by some psychiatrist or it was just a self diagnosis? Extreme happiness could be a sign of manic disorder of Bipolar disorder, so you need to see a psychiatrist. Now you have symptoms of depression and ideas of suicide and you should see a psychiatrist for such symptoms. Ideas of suicide can be a part of severe depression. In severe depression medicines like SSRIs are used but if you are having severe depression with bipolar disorder then mood stabilisers will be needed for you. Sodium Valproate, Lamotrigine etc are commonly used as mood stabilisers. Consult a psychiatrist for making proper diagnosis and for relief of your symptoms.
Thanks, hope this helps you.
