Suggest A Remedy For Stomach Upset

Hi Doctor,



My son is having stomach pain from past 2 days and going to motion daily 4 to 5 times. By seeing his motion I could understand thathi stomach upset. so I started giving him Metal-Spas, but no results. He is 4 yrs old. Can I give "Ofloxacin Suspension Zenflox" for his stomach upset? Please suggest.

I really appreciate your concern, without the indication of infection or perfect diagnosis antibiotic can not be given, let the doctor decide for that, such diarrhea in pediatric age could be due to dyspepsia or viral infection these are the common causes for diarrhea and these may not need any treatment but this is the self limiting condition only care need to be taken for dehydration hope this information helps.
