Suggest A Remedy For Swollen Tonsils And Numbness In The Uvula
I have been having trouble swallowing for a couple of weeks now I ve been to the doctor and he gave me some steroids for swollen tonsils but it didn t help I ve realized that the top of my mouth where my uvula is is kind of numb which explains why I don t know if I ve swallowed or not and spit my food up I m 14 and my mom is a nurse so she kind of understands me but I need help without having to go to the doctor again and pay 400$ so pleeeeeease help
Hi. Thanks for your query. Read and understood your history and concerns You have painful swallowing for weeks together, swollen tonsils treated with steroids, numbness over uvula. Since you are just 14 years old it is difficult for the neurological causes to be in effect. The possible causes are: The infection caused some abscess with ultimate affection of the local nerves and hence the problem you are facing. Since the problem is a serious one, you have to visit a consultant, at least see your Physician so that you have the chance to get a proper diagnosis.
