What medicine should I take for irritation on chin caused due to hair coloring product? I used For for & Mustaches....my chin is so itchy and ....i know it s an allergic reaction ....i started to use Extra Strength Benadryl and Cortizone 10 plus...is there anything ...
Hi. As per your case history of irritant contact dermatitis due to hair color, my treatment advice is - 1. Avoid using hair color in future to prevent relapse. Instead of that use herbal products. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone and higher antihistamine like hydroxyzine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
