Suggest A Remedy For Tiny Red Dots On Lower Abdomen And Inner Thighs
Hi, I have tiny red dots, some slightly bigger on my lower abdomen and top of inner thighs, I have had them for years, they are not itchy or troublesome but don t look nice. What are they? I do like a hot bath and thought that would be the cause, can I get rid of them with a cream or something?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of tiny red dots on lower abdomen and inner thighs which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it is due to abundance of sebaceous glands in these areas. It seems to be due to hair follicle infection leading to folliculitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to wash these areas daily with cold water and body wash containing salicylic acid twice a day and apply cream containing azelaic acid which is good for pimples. Maintain complete hygiene of that area. Take diet rich in multivitamins. If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocycline, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
