hi i am suffering from piles.....and its operated by IRC,dr advised me to apply nitrogesic // diltrigesic ointment and i want to know does both the ointment perform same function because i am allergic to nitogesic..it causes me headache and vomiting... your reply may help me....................
Hi. Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific. Noted the history and understood your concerns. Diltrigesic and Nitrogesic ointments are the same hence you can not apply either of it as you are allergic to these causing you headache and vomiting. Since you have got iles operated, this may not be necessary. Continue Sitz bath in a tub with warm water. Stool softeners to keep stool soft. Avoid any foods and beverages that you know of causing you constipation or any GI problems. Increase fiber contents in your food. Antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines if there is infection and pain or swelling. Take rest till you get cured.
