Suggest Alternate Over The Counter Medication For Norvasc
greetings, in july for first time was put on bp meds norvasc 5 mg took for 3 months and hard to pay for new supply, have been off for 2 months now, checked bp today and was 142/102 but had just walked a cpl miles rested 15 mins then took bp test at a shoppes should i be concerned and get back on norvasc asap? also 53 yrs
Hello and welcome to HCM I have read and understood your query I hope this will help. For your age a BP of 140/100 is not that bad..I would advise you to follow strict salt restriction and weight loss and regular exercise.do not take norvasc 5mg at the moment. You should have your regular blood pressure monitoring eg: daily for 7 days at same time each day . Consult your GP afterwards with full table and proceed accordingly.. NORVASC contains AMLODIPINE.. Lodopin is a good and more economical alternative of NORVASC.should your physician advise you to start it again
