Suggest Alternative For Clonazepam While Having Anxiety And Depression

I am 63 years old and have taken 20 mg chllorizipidium for 5+ years, I have fallen and broken my shoulder, I do not have a memory of the fall, can I safely get off chlorizipidium, change it for a different drug,, I have PTSD, anxiety, depression.
what do you think?

Hello,

Yes, it can be discontinued safely but this should be discussed with the doctor, who is treating you. Normally the medication would need to be tapered to reduce withdrawal symptoms. The doctor sets up a schedule with the doses gradually decreasing. An alternative would also need to be used.
