Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Lipitor is a drug that may be used to treat high cholesterol, and to lower the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart complications in people with type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, or other risk factors.
Among the side effects of this drug, joint pains have been described but not leg sweeling. However, i will suggest you see your prescribing Doctor for evaluation and to judge if you should take a different drug. There are many drugs that belong to the statin family that you may use.Just see your Doctor.
Hope this will help
Best regards
