Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Iam using melacare cram since 3 years from a wrong information given by my friend. the reason for the long usage is if i stop using it my skin get darker and i get mentally disturbed due to this problem. Please give me a permanent solution to get rid of this cream
If you are having the blackish spots after discontinuing the melacare then it indicates that you are having the tendency to develop the melasma, i.e. blackish discoloration around cheeks. It is advisable to have a proper skin specialist consultation to avoid this. My suggestion is that the only way to avoid the blackish discolouration after discontinuing the cream is avoid the sun exposure which is the cause behind the discolouration. You may use the scarf to protect you against sun exposure. Avoid un-necessary outing in direct slight. Also you should use any sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30 twice a day at 8 Am in morning & 2 pm in noon even though you do not go out in sun exposed places. Include more of citrus foods such as orange, lemon in diet.
These few majors will definitely help you discontinue the melacare cream.
