Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a hysterectomy 25 years ago and have been on estrogen pills since then. If I do not have my medication I get headaches and feel very moody. I have been told by United Health Care they do not cover EEMT 1.25/2.5 MG Tablets. (Manufactured by Creekwood). Can you suggest another hormone that will be effective for me.
EEMT (Eesterified estrogens and methyltestosterone tablets). Estratest oral tablet is another drug in this group. Esterified estrogens/methyltestosterone - under brand names Covaryx, Eemt, Essian, Estratest, Menogen, and Syntest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Tushar Kanti Biswas,
