Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking SOMA for many years. I no longer have access to it as my provider has chosen to no longer carry it. I have had two rotator cuff/labrum/bicep surgeries (same shoulder) and a C5/C6 fusion with occasional low back pain for many years. SOMA was effective for me. I have tried Robaxin and Zanaflex with minimal effect. I had taken Flexaril prior to the SOMA but did not care for the way it made me feel. I am a 58 year old professional male, active, currently working, hold an advanced degree and prefer to be both alert and effective at my job. What would you recommend for a muscle relaxant given this abbreviated history?
