Suggest An Alternative Remedy For Appendix Apart From Tramadol
I am having persistent, extreme lower abdomen pain. it is a steady pain punctuated every couple of minutes with a painful twinge. It's lasted for about 3 hours. i've taken two Tramadol and chewed some Tums, but no relief. I still have my appendix. Any thoughts?
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am Dr.Amit Jain (DM, Gastroenterologist).
Pain in lower abdomen may be due to causes related to large intestine like diverticulitis, appendicits, intestinal colic, or Urinary tract like uretic colic, or pelvic organs. So I will suggest you to take some antispasmodic like drotavarine. Get blood tests like complete haemogram, urine examination and ultrasound abdomen, to confirm the cause. You should also visit your doctor for physical examination.
I hope I have answered your query. If you have any further query I will be happy to answer that too. Wish you a good health
