I was diagnosed with Takayasu Arteritis about 5 months ago, my doctor has me on prednisone, 25 mg, trying to taper down along with methotrexate. I was wondering if there was any other drug i could take instead of the methotrexate. It makes me very nauseas gives me terrible migraines and makes me feel extremely tired. I take it on friday nights and i am whipped out the entire saturday. Not only does it take up my whole weekend but it makes me feel absolutely terrible. If there is another medication you know about that could help please let me know; im desperate!
