Suggest An Alternative To Verelan For BP And Arrhythmia

I am currently on VERELAN PM....have been for the last 20 years....but is no longer being manufactured!It was originally prescribed for high blood pressure and arithmia. I have tolerated this medication extremely well, too care of the original problem....but what medication can I replace it with? Would apreciate your input. S.

The medication Veralan-PM contains the active ingredient Verapamil- a calcium channel blocker which is effectively used in the treatment of hypertension and arrhythmia (supraventricular tachycardia).

The other brands that also contain the same ingredient include CALAN-SR, ISOPTIN, COVERA, VASOPTEN, CALAPTEN, etc.

These medications can be replaced with Veralan-PM.
You are advised to take an opinion of your treating doctor before using the alternate medication.
