Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Bleeding from vagina and pain in the vaginal region is not diagnostic for LGV.
Bleeding can occur due to many other causes.
LGV is characterized by development of inguinal lymph nodes above and below inguinal ligament.
The enlarged lymph nodes are painful and may even burst to release pus and blood.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical assessment, investigations and thus management.

Thanks and take care

HIV AIDS Specialist Dr. Sankaranantham Murugan's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Lymphogranuloma Venereum is very rare nowadays. Blood through anus can occur due to many reasons, not only due to LGV alone.
So consult a surgeon. He will examine you with proctoscope and suggest further investigations. Treatment can be planned according to the outcome of the examination. Dr S.Murugan
