Suggest Antibiotics To Treat Enterobacter Cloacae Skin Infection
What is the strongest oral antibiotic to treat Enterobacter cloacae skin infection? I ve also heard there is a facilitating drug that makes antibiotics work better treating skin infections, do you know that drug s name? I am under a doctor s care but seeking supplemental information.
Hi. As per your case history of enterobacter infection, my treatment advice is - 1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on affected skin. 3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching. 4. Antibiotics like levofloxacin and doxycyline can be used only after consulting a dermatologist.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
