I do empathize your feelings after loosing a baby. However, let us accept the situation and proceed for the safe abortion. Since your baby growth is of 5weeks only, you may opt for medical method of termination of pregnancy.

Tab. Mifepristone followed within 24-48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol is a good, safe and reliable method for terminating a pregnancy up to 9 weeks of gestation. Unwanted kit contains these medicines. However, these medicines should be taken only after an Obstetrician's prescription and under supervision.

Moreover, it seems your baby was non-viable in your uterus for about a month or more. So you are having missed abortion. Therefore, please get following investigations to rule out clotting disorder (DIC) before attempting termination of pregnancy:
1. Bleeding Time
2. Clotting Time
3. Prothrombin time
4. Fibrinogen Degradation Products
If required some more investigation may be ordered. These investigations should be done before you undergo termination of pregnancy.

According to your gestational age your gestational age is 8 weeks and over. But your scan shows 5 weeks. Its very difficult to comment on the well being of your pregnancy with just one report and without knowing its features on the scan. It sometimes can happen that you ovulate late and the dates and scan report don't match ( again I don't know if your periods are regular). So I suggest you to wait for a week or 10 days by when you can undergo another scan to see if the baby s heart has appeared. If it has not appeared then you can undergo termination as your doctor suggested. If baby heart start beating..well then good luck and enjoy your pregnancy

Medical termination of pregnancy (using tablets) can be done till 7 weeks of pregnancy. The chances of successful termination is more than 90% when feral heart hasn't yet appeared. You will be instructed to take a tablet of mifepristone 600 mg orally. This is followed by 2 tablets of misoprostol 200 microgram each 48 hours later. And again you need to repeat misoprostol 2 tablets after 24 hours. You can expect bleeding to set in after 1st dose of misoprostol. The tissues may be expected to look like fleshy mass of more or less finger size or grape like structure. There could be slight pain in the lower abdomen though pain of greater degree is not uncommon. This could be managed with routine pain killers and antispasmodics. The bleeding may continue just like menses and usually lasts about 7 to 10 days.
Sometimes as a complication, few tissues may be retained inside uterus and can cause a lot of bleeding. One can avoid such unfortunate event by undergoing the process under medical supervision or by promptly reaching hospital as soon as one can when need arises. One may require additional doses of misoprostol or surgical termination to removed the retained bits of tissue. This is highly unlikely in early pregnancy.
Your fibroid is only a small one and won't come in way of termination and its nothing to be worried about. Hope this helps. Take care.
