Hi
Welcome to the healthcaremagic
First confirm whether it is really typhoid fever or something else.
In typhoid dose of taxim is different. It is 20mg/kg/day in two decided doses.in typhoid we normally give two antibiotics. So you can ask doctor to start azithromycin in 20mg/kg/day dose
In typhoid fever sometimes takes 5 days to go inspite of giving correct medicine in right dose.If no response/poor oral intake/irritability then we hospitalise and give injectable medicines
Happy to help you
Best regards
