Hi,
A feeling of stickiness or lumpiness in the throat is a common problem seen in patients with laryngoesophageal reflux, which means that you are having reflux of acid upto the level of esophagus.Other rare causes are 1. a real lump in the throat or 2. something outside the throat compressing it.
But a simple throat examination with mirror can find the exact cause.
A minimum of 6 weeks treatment with drugs that you are having at present is needed. So it's better to continue the same treatment at least for 2 or 3 months.
In addition to that life style changes are very important
1. Don't lie flat for at least two hours after meals
2.Don't have spicy foods or foods that will increase the symptoms like lentils, tubers.
You have to patiently wait till the medicines act and life style changes set in.
