Suggest Cause And Remedy For Irregular Heart Beat

I was sitting at the computer chatting with friends. My heart fluttered and then stopped beating for a second. During that second I felt like I was going to faint. I breathed in and it began to pump immediately and at a very fast rate. This is not the first time it has happened. Could this be anxiety?

Hello,

The situation which you are experiencing is known as ectopic beats which usually are harmless and goes unnoticed but in your case, as it is bothering you so it's advisable that you should go for an evaluation.

Echocardiography, Holter monitoring is advisable after that medication will be decided if required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
