Suggest Cause And Remedy For Tiredness
My 11 year old grandson is tired all the time. While sitting I can hear him breath as if he s old weight. While riding in the car he seems to immediately drifts off to sleep. We had blood work done and found that he does have a dehydrated kidney and only asked that we increase his intake of water. I am concerned that maybe he has heart disease. Do I need to take him to a cardiologist?

Hi...being tired all the time can be due to -
1. Hypothyroidism
2. As you said - probable heart disease.
3. Chronic kidney disease.
I suggest you see a general pediatrician first. No need to go for a cardiologist as of now.
