Suggest Cause For Heaviness Of Uterus In Pregnant Woman
Im 6 months pregnant. I'm feeling a heavy weight deep in my uterus, as well as some weird pain... Not cramping, just weird pain. My baby will not stop moving either... What is going on with me? It feels heavy yet, empty up top in my belly. This is the only way I can describe what i'm feeling.
Hi, If you are pregnant for the first time, then, you are most likely experiencing the Braxton-Hicks' contractions. These are mild occasional contractions of the uterus as it enlarges. As term approaches ad labor ensues, these give way to the proper contractions. The fetus is comparatively smaller at this stage and moves freely within the adequate liquor. If you notice any of the symptoms like pain in the back or thigh, vaginal discharge, increased tightening of the abdomen, heavily agitated or slow fetal movement, report at once to your consultant. Hope this helps.
