Hi,I am a 42 year old female. I have been experiencing nausea and general malaise for 14 days!! i have no appetite (usually a very good eater). I have been do the drs and they ran blood tests (including pregnancy) all which came back normal (not pregnant). Dr has suggested i take prilosec but i have never had heartburn, acid reflux or any sort of stomach related issue. Any thoughts? suggestions? or other tests i should ask for???Thanks for your help
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted that your are female of 42 and have nausea and malaise, loss of appetite for 15 days. Tested for pregnancy and other blood tests which are negative. Take prilosec in spite you do not have heartburn or acid reflux or sort of stomach related issued as this may need to be taken for possible acidity that may develop in such a case. The cause can be found on a clinical evaluation and further test and treated as per the diagnosis hence made.
