Suggest Cause For Semen Having Booger Like Texture And Consistency

Hi, my boyfriend has been having problems with his semen. When he ejaculates it dries very quickly, and if you wipe it off, it rolls into little balls. The balls have, excuse me, a booger-like texture and consistency. What could this mean? We are trying to conceive, will this prevent/ effect that in any way?
