dear patient thank you for the question,
How old are you ???are you obese???
here some probabilities of breathing problems at night..
1.obstructive sleep apnea; Decreased airway
muscle tone during sleep, and the pull of gravity in the supine position, results in some prolapse of the airway structures and further decrease its size. This can impede airflow during respiration.
Snoring can occur during the initial stages, caused by partial obstruction in the airway. As tissues collapse further or the patient rolls over on his or her back, the airway may become completely obstructed.
2.bronchial asthma:patient may present with episodic attacks of breathlessness and the attacks will dis appear few minutes to hours, but in between patient is free.
3.
GERD ;gastro esophageal reflex disease due to lying down position regurgitation of stomach contents and enter into trachea will induce asthmatic attack..
4.heart failure;;;due to leftventricular failure decresed heart pumping capacity cause fluid accumulation in lung cause
pulmonary edema cause breathlessness...
