Suggest Cause For Tingling And Numbness Sensation In The Thigh
Yes, I have been having a mild burning, tingling and numbness in my outer right thigh. Had knee surgery 4 yrs ago. This sensation started a few months after about once a week. Now it occurs once a day. Any idea what may be causing this and should I be worried?

Suggest Cause For Tingling And Numbness Sensation In The Thigh
Hi, The symptoms are more likely suggestive of neuropathic causes. Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. Make sure that your blood sugar is well controlled because uncontrolled blood sugar can cause similar symptoms due to nerve weakness. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
