Suggest Complications With Inflamed Appendix

is it possible for your appendix to get inflamed every so offten? I think mine does and i went to the hospital for what i though was appendicitis and they said it might have been a minor inflammation. does this mean i might need to get my appendix removed soon? I am 16 and am 5ft 7
