Doctor put my son on Bactrim and keflex for a bump that developed on the outside of his nose close to his eye. He said doctor said it was a pimple that got bad. Does this sound normal. He is going out of town on a trip in a couple days for an interview.
It is possible for acne lesions/pimples to become further infected and if there was a previous pimple in this area, this could have occurred especially if there was trauma to it.
The medication given should help the infection to resolve.
I hope this helps
