Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
I have gone through your query and I have understood it.
Pore size depends on the size of the sebaceous glands, nose being rich in sebaceous glands. The bigger the size, the larger the pore. Moreover, the natural process of ageing can cause pore size to enlarge. With age, our skin loses elasticity, which can affect pores and cause them to dilate.
The secretions of sebaceous glands gets extruded as yellowish, creamy, inspissated, thread shaped material when you squeeze on the nose.
Any treatment which decreases the size and activity of the sebaceous glands would definitely affect the pore size, but that would be temporary.
-Oral
retinoids in a low dose of 5 mg -10 mg per day are sebostatic. They shrink/decrease the size of the sebaceous glands by 90% within a month, thus making the pore appear shrink/smaller.
OR
-You could go in for IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Sessions: IPL stimulates the production of
collagen, which plumps up the skin and gives you a fresher look, and refines or tightens large pores. You can take a few sessions at 3 weeks interval.
OR
-Regular chemical peeling sessions from a dermatologist:
Chemical peels can smooth the surface of your skin, improve skin tone and color, diminish
wrinkles and shrink pore size. Chemical peeling is usually repeated every 2-3 weeks.
However, it is not possible to reduce the size of the pores, permanently.
Hope this helps
