Hi, I recently was in the shower about a hour ago and noticed I had a bump on the tip of my penis, on the right side. It is like a balloon, semi hard and puffy. It doesn t hurt, and isn t dis-colored. I did masturbate earlier, say 6 hours ago. I just noticed in the shower, wasn t sure if it could be serious of something common. I feel like I have had this before, just not as big of a bump. This is similar in size to a cashew peanut if I had to say.
If I were your physician and you were to visit my Clinic I would- 1) Take a detailed sexual history 2) Rule out sexually transmitted diseases 3)If the panel would come positive treat you for the same 4) If no such sexual history present, this might be a friction burn due to improper lubrication and should settle on its own in a few days 5)Just apply moisturizer on the same, clean the area with soap and water to prevent infection and wait for a few days
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sagar Mudgal, Psychiatrist
