Suggest Cure For High BP

I just had my blood pressure read at Walgreens and it was 188/102 which is the highest it has ever been. Am on Lisonopril 10mg a day but have not felt right for a few weeks. I have left a message with my doctor but is there anything I can do to bring this down now?

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
You have definitely high blood pressure which needs to be controlled on priority basis.
My advice to you is -

1. You should add a medicine for blood pressure control in addition to lisinopril at this point in time. Meet your doctor and ask about that.

2. Your doctor can do your 24 hrs blood pressure monitoring and give you proper idea regarding your blood pressure fluctuations.

3.Do your kidney profile, thyroid profile, lipid profile and blood sugar levels - all of them can cause risein blood pressure.

4.Regularly Daily walking and eating fresh fruits will help you to control blood pressure.
Thank you.
Have a nice day.
