I feel bloated in my stomach all the time whether I eat more or less food. And no matter what I eat my stomach feels like it s blown out of control. So what could be the problem? I m imagining all kind of things what could be the problem but I don t know. I feel very uncomfortable in the tummy all the time. (Please heeeelp) I want to know from you what could be my problem? and do I have to pay for this?
There may be many causes for these problems. If your symptoms are for few days, this may be due to gastritis, you are advised to take some proton pump inhibitors like omeprazole daily for 2 weeks.
However if the problems are present from long time, then you need to see a gastroenterologist to rule out H.pylori infection, malabsorption diseases like celiac, bacterial overgrowth etc.
In the meantime, you are advised to avoid sweet food, alcohol, lactose-containing foods like milk.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Muhammad Zahir Shah, Internal Medicine Specialist
